TEHRI IRON & STEEL CASTING LTD.

It all started way back in 1968 when Shri Harbans Lal Goel set up a small manufacturing unit under the name of BHARAT STEEL ROLLING MILL now known as TEHRI IRON & STEEL CASTINGS PVT. LTD.

Today, the group is a leading manufacturer of Steel Castings, Mild Steel TMT, Girders, Channels and Squares, under the brand name of Tehri Tiscon TMT, Tehri TMT and TEHRI GIRDERS, TEHRI CHANNELS & TEHRI ANGLES which is manufactured in Tehri Iron and Steel Castings Pvt Ltd, Muzaffarnagar. Besides this, Tehri Gold TMT and Tehri Platinum TMT is manufactured in Tehri Iron and Steels Ltd, Bhaghwanpur.

The plant was started with the production of merely 200MT/month with an annual turnover of Rupees Sixteen Lakhs only. We are proud to say that within a passage of time, the Group has shown considerable growth and a strong presence in the mild steel finished product market. The group now has monthly production capacity of 12,000MT of mild steel finished product per month with a turnover of 100 million US dollars annually.

The Group also is into trading of a variety of steel products like Sponge Iron, Billets and Ingots. There is also an exclusive tie-up with TATA STEEL where TATA supplies its Sponge Iron only to our group in the region.

In a short span, the unit has managed to have a respectable range in the field of castings and currently the unit produces 250MT of steel castings per month and a single piece ranging from 500 kg to 40MT.

The Group is focusing not only on the increase of production quality of steel castings but also to diversify in new materials like which include alloy steel casting, stainless steel castings, manganese steel castings and others.

Today the group consists of two rolling mills and two induction furnaces and a foundry unit in muzaffarnagar and one rolling mill unit and three induction furnaces in bhagwanpur, uttarakhand.
